42 Technology strengthens senior team with David Griffin appointment

We are delighted to welcome David Griffin to our team to further strengthening our mechanical systems engineering and project management capabilities.

David is an experienced senior consultant who is known and respected within the life sciences sector for his contribution in bringing several market-leading products and processes to market. David joins to help manage a number of recent new client wins at 42T and to boost the consultancy’s business development activity, initially in life sciences and healthcare.

David Griffin brings a broad range of engineering skills into the consultancy, covering mechanical, electrical, control and software engineering, as well as a deep knowledge of fluid and thermal management. Having worked extensively in the pharmaceutical sector, he is also experienced in de-risking designs to eliminate potential sources of end-user or manufacturing error which is essential when bringing increasingly sophisticated new technologies and products to market.

Before joining 42T, David Griffin held senior engineering roles with Vapourtec, the flow chemistry company, Inca Digital Printers and Genevac. He started his industrial career in the pharmaceutical automation sector with automation development company GB Innomech following a degree in engineering science from University of Cambridge, and a postgraduate diploma with the Cambridge ACDMM.

Away from work David is a passionate mountain bike rider and recently completed the ’10 Under The Ben’ 10 hour endurance race around the foothills of Ben Nevis, Scotland.
