We’re delighted to share that 42 Technology has been recognised as one of the region’s top innovation consultancies, securing equal second place in Business Weekly’s “Business Influencers” category in its 2026 New Year Honours.
The annual rankings celebrate organisations helping to shape the future of the Cambridge and East of England business ecosystem: from advancing new technologies to supporting global brand owners in bringing breakthrough products and services to market. The honours include award categories for Legal Services, Finance, Science and Technology Innovators, as well as Business Influencers.
In its coverage, Business Weekly highlighted 42T’s recent relocation from St Ives to Cambourne Park, including the addition of significant new facilities such as fully equipped food-grade and biolabs, and a dedicated product usability and testing suite. The publication also noted how we have specifically strengthened our position in Edge AI over the last year with a series of new strategic partnerships to give clients an even wider range of options to meet their needs.
Looking ahead, Jon Spratley, CEO at 42T expects 2026 to be a pivotal year for Edge-AI adoption:
“Multinational manufacturers are increasingly turning to 42T to get the speed, security and power-efficient intelligence they need. Edge-AI is now solving real problems that once looked impossible, particularly in manufacturing, quality control and supply-chain monitoring.”
