With a First-Class MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, his career spans industrial, medical and consumer sectors, leading complex design and development programmes from concept through to manufacture.
As COO at 42T, Alan combines strategic thinking with a deep understanding of engineering delivery. His career includes senior consultancy roles and time as a Chief Technology Officer at an energy start-up, where he guided innovation and built high-performing teams. Alan thrives on balancing technical excellence with commercial value, helping organisations grow while staying grounded in practical outcomes.
A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Alan is passionate about driving impact through collaborative, high-performance teams.
