
Blending hands-on engineering with a passion for innovation, Alex enjoys tackling challenges that sit at the intersection of materials science, product development and strategy. He holds an integrated Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University, and began his career developing magnetic components using novel processing techniques.
At 42T, Alex has worked on everything from front-end innovation for consumer products to experimental proof-of-concepts in unexpected spaces, like baked goods production. His approach combines data-driven experimentation with creative thinking, helping clients unlock new opportunities across sectors.
Life outside work

Outside of work, Alex is a competitive kickboxer, a dedicated home cook, and a fan of great films and even better meals with friends around Cambridge.
