Clare is a Senior Consultant at 42T with a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and Chartered Engineer status with the IMechE. Since joining 42T in 2015, Clare has contributed to a wide range of medical and industrial projects, offering deep expertise in technical design, analysis, and simulation.
Her work focuses on detailed design review, fluidic and structural optimisation, and the generation of high-quality technical documentation. Clare regularly uses CFD and other simulation tools to validate and enhance product performance. A standout project involved optimising a check valve to significantly reduce pressure losses while maintaining its functionality.
Life outside work
When she’s not problem-solving, Clare unwinds with baking, crochet projects, and countryside walks with her family (ideally with cookies in tow).
