David thrives at the intersection of embedded electronics, sensing, and system design. As Head of Embedded Systems at 42T, he draws on a rich mix of academic and industry experience, starting with a PhD in RF spectroscopy and moving through roles in radar threat detection and industrial innovation.
He’s led multidisciplinary teams across everything from radar and firmware to liquid atomisation and large-scale mechanical builds. Whether he’s architecting a complex sensing platform or figuring out the best way to scale a textile processing system, David brings clarity, creativity, and technical leadership to every challenge.
At 42T, David leads embedded system strategy and development, guiding clients through complex product architecture challenges, from requirements capture through to delivery.
Life outside work

When he’s not solving engineering problems, he’s hands-on with entirely different kinds of builds, making furniture or designing and sewing his own clothes.
