Duncan is Director of Industrial Products at 42T, with over 35 years of experience spanning precision engineering, sensors, electronics, and technology translation. With a background in mechanical engineering and a career that includes leadership roles in automotive, semiconductor, and flexible electronics industries, Duncan brings deep insight into high-value manufacturing and complex innovation ecosystems.
He has led multidisciplinary teams across international markets, with past roles ranging from Engineering Manager in Tier 1 automotive supply to Business Development Director. At 42T, Duncan applies his expertise to help clients develop next-generation industrial systems, guiding them through product development, technology transfer, and scale-up.
Duncan’s project experience includes everything from flexible diagnostics and photonic packaging to F1 steering systems and high-pressure sensors for harsh environments.
Life outside work
When he’s not helping companies solve tough engineering challenges, Duncan’s usually out walking his dog, planning his next trip, or cooking something excellent to go with a glass of wine.
