George is a Mechanical Engineer at 42T, with a Master’s degree in General Engineering from the University of Sheffield and a strong interest in medical and consumer device development. His academic background spans a broad range of engineering disciplines, with a particular focus on mechanical design and simulation.
His hands-on experience includes working with an R&D team on infection prevention products for healthcare and developing a prototype to test bladeless wind energy extraction methods as part of his final-year project. He’s also no stranger to building things that move, having co-founded a student team that designed and raced a downhill mountain bike.
Life outside work
Outside of work, George is usually climbing, mountain biking, swimming, or jamming on his bass guitar as he gets back into music.
