Innes combines a love for design, technology, and sustainability in his role as a Mechanical Engineer at 42T. With a master’s in Integrated Design Engineering from the University of Bath, he’s worked on everything from robotic surgical tools and sustainable coffee packaging to an underwater robot that cleans public aquariums.
He thrives on working with mechatronic systems and rapid prototyping, always keeping the end user in mind when designing solutions that are both innovative and practical.
Life outside work
Outside of engineering, Innes is all about movement and creativity, whether he’s running, hiking, cycling, or playing volleyball. When indoors, he enjoys sketching, collecting houseplants, and playing unique instruments like the handpan.
