Jack is a hands-on problem solver with a background in crash safety and a passion for building better systems. He completed his Mechanical Engineering Master’s degree at the University of Bath, where he focused on Scope 3 emissions in construction.
Since then, Jack has led projects in sectors ranging from consumer to renewables, with a strong focus on fuel cell technologies. He’s experienced in simulation, test rig design, and full-system integration. A recent highlight: managing the build and testing of an opto-mechanical beta-prototype programme, working alongside electronic and software disciplines.
Jack is also responsible for managing 42T’s mechanical lab and is a trained Mental Health First Aider.
Life outside work
Outside of work, Jack is an outdoor enthusiast, whether it’s mountain biking (even in flat Cambridge), hiking, skiing, or diving, he’s always keen for the next adventure.
