Paul is Head of Electronics & Software at 42T, with over 30 years of experience in electronics product development. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Warwick Business School and a degree in Physics and Electronics from the University of Manchester.
Paul’s career spans both technology consultancy and product companies, with a particular focus on RF system and circuit design, radar systems, wireless communications, and RF propagation. He has led the development of numerous complex electronic systems across defence, communications, and security sectors.
A notable achievement includes conceiving and leading the development of a covert intrusion sensor system, featuring a patented low-profile antenna and mesh networking, used by military, security forces, and in renewable energy site protection.
Life outside work
Outside of work, Paul’s just as hands-on: running a local Repair Café, championing sustainable transport, and staying active with running, swimming, and the occasional triathlon. He once even ran a car on vegetable oil.
