
Sohaiba is an Embedded Software Engineer at 42T, with a First-Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering with Computer Systems from the University of Surrey. Her background focuses on embedded systems, robotics, AI, and digital health technologies.
Since joining 42T, Sohaiba has contributed to a range of medical, industrial, and research-based projects. Her technical expertise spans firmware architecture, communication protocol integration, custom bootloader development, and embedded DevOps practices. She is experienced in languages such as Embedded C and Python and skilled in interface protocols including UART, SPI, RS-485, MODBUS, and HART.
Notable projects include software development for a Class C medical ventilator and building an AI-driven WALL-E robot for her dissertation, featuring object recognition, SLAM, and advanced grasping techniques.
Life outside work

Outside of engineering, Sohaiba enjoys painting, knitting, making desserts, and spending time with her cat, Luna.
