Tom Poskitt has been part of the 42T team for over a decade, turning tricky design challenges into elegant, manufacturable products. With a Master’s degree in Electronics and Electrical engineering from Imperial, he’s especially into system architecture, low-power design, and solving the kinds of problems that crop up when you’re pushing performance to the edge.
From tamperproof embedded systems to noise-sensitive optical devices, Tom’s helped bring some truly innovative tech to life, always with an eye on keeping things simple, efficient and ready for production.
His work has supported products through successful volume manufacture and includes published contributions in IEEE journals.
Life outside work

Outside of work? He’s probably elbow-deep in a vintage engine, whether it’s diesel, petrol, or steam, ranging from lawnmowers to fire engines. If it turns over and makes a satisfying sound, Tom’s into it.
