Francesca is Head of Design at 42T, where she leads user-centred design programmes across sectors including medical, consumer, industrial, and sustainability-focused innovation. With a First-Class MEng in Product Design Engineering from the University of Glasgow and the Glasgow School of Art, she’s passionate about designing products that solve real-world problems and make a positive impact.
Since joining 42T as a graduate, she’s tackled everything from surgical usability testing to the design of eco-conscious home appliances. Whether she’s mapping user journeys or leading front-end innovation workshops, Francesca always puts people at the heart of the process.
She’s also spoken at the Engineering Design Show about how ethnographic research can power better design.
Life outside work
When she’s not at work, Francesca keeps active through hybrid fitness events and enjoys flexing her creativity at home, designing logos, visuals, and the occasional side project for friends.
