Jake Greer is a Senior Consultant at 42T with a background in Aeronautics, Astronautics, and Advanced Materials from the University of Southampton. She specialises in product and mechanical design, sustainable engineering, and the integration of new materials into existing manufacturing processes.
Jake has worked on a wide variety of complex projects, from designing sustainable consumer and medical products to managing, designing and executing a variety of multi-physics simulations, including CFD and thermal simulations for medical and industrial systems. As technical lead on a project, she helped take a microplastic-filtering consumer product from concept to production-ready design in record time, balancing innovation with manufacturability, sustainability, and usability.
Her expertise spans flow path design, custom sealing, manufacturing scale-up, and cross-functional technical leadership. Jake’s work often focuses on improving material recyclability, reducing resource waste, and building resilient production processes.
Life outside work

Outside work, she’s just as hands-on, designing and sewing historical clothing, beekeeping, volunteering on a livestock farm, and leading Sea Scout adventures.
