Peter Story is a Managing Consultant at 42T with over 30 years of experience in the architecture, development, and delivery of large-scale, real-time systems across software and hardware domains. He holds a BSc (Eng) in Electronics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa) and has a proven track record of leading high-performance teams and driving technical strategy for global technology programmes.
Peter brings deep cross-domain expertise spanning embedded systems, compute platforms (CPU, GPU, FPGA), wired and wireless networking (3GPP, ORAN, IEEE), and cloud-native environments. He is highly skilled in system partitioning, requirements definition, and product architecture. Working closely with senior leadership teams and customers to translate complex requirements into cutting-edge solutions.
A career highlight includes leading the architecture and early development of a next-generation UE simulator for 3G–5G and ORAN wireless testing, including multi-year technology roadmapping.
Life outside work
Outside of work, Peter keeps things fast and fun, he’s an avid skateboarder, runner, and cyclist, and always tinkering with the latest hardware or programming technique just for the challenge.
