Stuart is a Senior Consultant in Mechanical Design at 42T, bringing over 30 years of experience in designing high-precision components for volume manufacture. He has been part of the 42T team since 2000, contributing to a wide range of projects across the medical, consumer, packaging and industrial sectors.
Stuart specialises in the design of injection-moulded components, with deep expertise in CAD modelling, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacture and assembly. He is an advanced user of Pro/ENGINEER (Creo) and SolidWorks as well as being known for his meticulous technical drawings and problem-solving in complex development environments.
His contributions have supported multiple patented innovations, including tamper-evident packaging solutions, micro-moulded medical components, and novel mechanical dose counting mechanisms.
Life outside work
Outside of the office, Stuart’s a sports enthusiast, especially when it comes to football, rugby and hiking in the Peak District. These days, he enjoys time with his grandson and taking long walks with the dog.
