Michaela is a Consultant at 42T with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, specialising in medical engineering. Since joining 42T as a graduate, she has worked across medical, consumer, and energy sectors, contributing to projects ranging from early-stage development to design for manufacture and testing.
Her expertise includes medical device development, materials analysis, and prototyping. Michaela has a particular interest in combining strong technical design with hands-on testing, and recently helped lead the development and wet-lab validation of a novel combination medical device.
Life outside work
Outside of work, Michaela’s often surrounded by dogs or music, she’s an oboist, pianist and singer, and is just as at home in the pool or on a climbing wall.
